Matariki poem

We have been learning about making kites and also Matariki and we had to make up a poem about matariki and what goes with the letters so this is mine.

Cheese Around The World

In Te hiringa this week we have been working on cheese and we have been researching online and looking what other types of cheese there is and we made plastic out of milk and let it set over night and we came back the next day it was solid.

WALT- write some descriptive sentence of this person called little freak, Little freak has a horrible life with his father showing his face to everyone for the price of bread

kumara Harvesting

In the afternoon Te Hiringa went to harvest Kumara in our school garden we research the history where it grows and the characteristic it took us some time to do kumara really come from south America and came down to new Zealand .

Kai cooker family fiesta.

For family fiesta at grey main school we got ready the day before it started to do the hangi we
started with the water cress and then potatoes we lied  then with the water cress and the carrots,kumara and the chicken.

then the boys took the baskets outside to cook and girls stayed inside doing the rest of the baskets.
we washed our hands at the end of the cook the hangi.



then when we are finished we had to take a photo.
